Remembering a good leader

I remember a day, at the time of dinner I asked my mother, "Mom, I would like to see Rajiv Gandhi sometime. Today he was in our town and we didn't go to see him". For which my mom replied, "Son, these days political meetings are dangerous. There can be problems/riots etc at such places. Still the next time he comes to Visakhapatnam, lets try to attend some meeting."

This discussion we had to night 9.30 and just few minutes later the young Prime minister of India was terribly assassinated.

Remembering the most cheerful and enthusiastic leader again on his 17th death anniversary in pain and sorrow.
